DESCRIPTION:Saturday Tree Planters\nTree planters are our flagship volunteer role and help plant trees at weekend events October through April! We welcome people of all ages and abilities. No previous experience necessary. We provide gloves\, tools and guidance … just dress appropriately for the weather\, prepare to get a little dirty\, and wear sturdy shoes or boots (knee-high rubber boots are ideal if you have them). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYouth Volunteers: Waiver Requirement\nWe welcome volunteers under the age of 18 at all of our plantings. \nHowever\, if you choose to attend a planting without a parent or guardian\, your parent or guardian must sign a youth waiver for you in advance. Please bring the waiver with you to the planting. Please note that you will not be able to plant\, weed\, or mulch if you don’t have a signed waiver. \nAlso\, if you are under the age of 15 and want to bring classmates with you\, please ensure that you have one parent or guardian for every five students in your group. \nPlease click HERE to download and print a youth waiver to sign in advance. Just make sure to leave it with us at the start of the planting!

SUMMARY:Veteran's Holiday Cheer Campaign Nov 2015
DESCRIPTION:Gamers for Good is running a fundraiser generate funds to spread some Holiday Cheer right after Veteran’s day to honor those who have given to our country through military service. \nAll funds raised here will be used to purchase decorations for the six Los Angeles VA Christmas trees and common areas. We have been invited to honor our Vets in this way and couldn’t be happier to do so.
